So far the best food all day. There's really no further explanation needed. I eat too much lol. Julian was great ask for him.
My husband and I were on vacation and went to Snapperz for the first time with our 8 month old. The owners offered to take our 8 month old son and walk around with him so my husband could eat, we allowed them to do that and it was so nice for them to be so personable and walk around with our son so we could have dinner together. Our son loves to meet new people so he was loving it too. It meant more than I could ever express. Food and service was also amazing!!
First-timer, but we’ll be back. My peel and eat shrimp (1/2 lb) were deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection. My son had the tacos with the mango salsa and loved every bite. Through it’s not peak season, they were still busy so our waitress (Kameron) was covering the bar and tables. She provided excellent service and made sure we had everything we needed. I look forward to coming back again.
Delicious! We love the one in Morehead City. My Mom was visiting, so we decided to try Emerald Isle. I would usually go for the steam pot, but we both decided on the seafood combo, fried flounder, and shrimp. Wow! So good! The service was friendly and fast, the decor is great. Will definitely be back.
Some of the best seafood we've ever had! The Mahi Santa Fe was incredible. The steam pot was perfect. The outdoor seating option is such a great touch for the ones with little kids. My kids were able to play outside while we enjoyed our meals without having to keep them sitting still in a booth. Our waitress Brittney was such a sweet girl! We will definitely be back!
Local restaurant with true southern and beach vibes! The staff and service were outstanding, and the food was equally as good. It's almost a Cheers feeling where everyone that comes in are friendly, social, and feels as if you have known them for a long time. We had the seafood dip, Bib Marley flounder sandwich, and the shrimp.and grits. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. We happened in Taco Tuesday, and the selection of tacos from fish to chicken looked really good. Get into this place for a delightful evening, with great food, and have Tequila Shelia whip you up a great drink of cold beer.
2025 update: another year, another trip to Snapperz. Kirstin was lovely this evening in handling our food with great service. The pot was delicious as always, worth every penny! My sister has the Philly cheesesteak and the cheese pull was awesome. One small recommendation would be to have disposable gloves for people to place on their hands while eating the pot because it can get a bit messy. 2024 update: this has officially become one of my yearly spots when I visit! Tonight I brought my sister for the first time and we sat outside. Travis was very attentive, prompt and nice! We tried the snapperz original steam pot and I was blown away with how fresh and filling it was! Thank you again Snapperz for the great service, food and atmosphere :) 2023 Updated: Mike reached out to me about our not so great first experience, he apologized and kindly asked we stop back by to give them another chance. He advised me to ask for Diana, who is the sweetest and funniest. She definitely had us smiling and laughing. We ordered the seafood nachos and we were so happy we decided to give it another go. They were hands down the best nachos on and around the island, the crab queso was such a perfect touch. Needless to say, we will definitely be back to try more. Thank you Snapperz for setting a bar and then exceeding it.
I had the steam pot for the first time. It was what I wanted for my birthday. This place did not disappoint. The meal was excellent. My husband had the grilled snapper and he said it was the best he had ever had. The people are friendly and very attentive. I can not say enough good about the meal and experience. I highly recommend this establishment. You will not be sorry.
